SERVICES
We combine art, graphic design and basketball to create a fun, learning environment.
We use art and graphic design to help with cognitive development and promote positive well-being. Research shows that art activities develop brain capacity in early childhood. Creativity also supports the development of social-emotional and multi-sensory skills and has been linked with feeling connected and motivated across a range of ages. Engaging with creativity has been associated with reduced negative behaviours in young people and improved relationships between parents and their children.*
We have 6 areas that we are using to fulfil our goals.
FREE 'urban-art meets basketball's social initiative
We have discovered that the South-West has many abandoned and under-utilised basketball courts. This initiative is to help turn them into works of art inspired by the local communities, making them exciting and engaging places for people of all ages to play basketball.
As mentioned above, we use art and graphic design to help with cognitive development. The program also helps improve communities by bringing ownership to the area the public has had a part in designing. This in turn also gets the public outside playing basketball, helping improve their mental and physical well-being.
"I'm gonna pop some tags" The basketball thrift shop is back!
We want your old basketball gear! Trainers, t-shirts, vests! We'll upcycle and give to those who need it.
This initiative is simple; help those struggling financially by giving them sportswear that can help them get out and exercise. We will happily come to you or you can drop anything off at our office at the Creative Hub, Stonehouse.
